Ceramic vs. Premium Steel Blade

What is the difference? 

We get this question a lot from our customers, as our Furzone A5 blades have two different materials: Premium Steel and Ceramic.

Here's the introduction of these two materials' characteristics:

  - Using exceptional Japanese high carbon steel 

  - Chrome-plated for rust resistance

  - Can be sharpened and reworked

  - Using high-tech ceramic
  - Cool running and reduce heat transfer
  - Intended to keep extra sharpness for longer life

 

Depending on the user experience, some think ceramic blade does a better job of staying cool and sharp for a longer period; whereas, some think steel blade can be sharpened, which can extend the product life.
